The clinician knows about the differential diagnostic difficulties in the spectrum of the so-called white-dot syndromes not least because of the rareness of these diseases. To facilitate a schematic diagnostic approach we developed an algorithm based on the current ophthalmological literature which we will post on our website shortly (www.uveitiscenter.de). This online questionnaire can also be used as a teaching module for residents. The talk will be supplemented by the demonstration of disease transitions within the spectrum of white dot syndromes as well as associated systemic diseases that have to be considered in the differential.
