Hintergrund: Die Astigmatismusentwicklung wird im Verlauf evaluiert.

Methode: Prospektive konsekutive Datenerhebung nach Kanaloplastik (iTrack), ohne (Gruppe 1) und mit (Gruppe 2) biaxialer microinzisionaler Kataraktchirurgie (BMICS). Vektoranalyse des chirurgisch induzierten Astigmatismus (SIA) nach Jaffe, Follow-up 6 Mon.

Ergebnisse: 55 Augen von 55 Patienten, Gruppe 1: 29 Augen, Gruppe 2: 26 Augen. Alle Augen konnten katheterisiert werden. Der mittl. präop. Astigmatismus betrug 1,08 D (±0,78) in Gruppe 1 und 0,87 D (±0,68) in Gruppe 2. Der mittl. SIA am 1. po Tag betrug 7,89 D (±3,95) in Gruppe 1 und 6,68 (±2,56) D in Gruppe 2. Nach 1 Mon 2,39 D (±2,23) in Gruppe 1 und 1,71 D (±1,81) in Gruppe 2. Nach 3 Mon 1,19 D (±1,06) in Gruppe 1 und 1,05 D (±0,71) in Gruppe 2. Nach 6 Mon 1,2 D (±1,12) in Gruppe 1 und 1,07 (±0,79) in Gruppe 2. Der präop. mittl. IOD von 32,22 mmHg (±9,76) in Gruppe 1 und 29,14 mmHg (±7,01) in Gruppe 2, konnte auf 12,89 mmHg (±2,75) bzw. 11,52 mmHg (±3,59) zum Zeitpunkt 6 Monate postop. bei 51 der 55 Patienten ohne Medikation gesenkt werden. Der präop. bestkorr. Visus betrug 0,79 in Gruppe 1 und 0,73 in Gruppe 2 und nach 6 Mon 0,8 bzw. 0,81.

Schlussfolgerung: Mit der Kanaloplastik und Phako-Kanaloplastik ist ein passagerer Astigmatismus verbunden, welcher eine transiente Visusminderung erzeugt und rückläufig ist.
