The iSert Micro 251 is a preloaded insertion system that provides controlled delivery of an aspheric, hydrophobic acrylic IOL through a 2.2 mm incision. From preparation through implantation, the iSert system provides predictable, easily repeatable, and safeguarded delivery of a preloaded IOL. The iSert system can be prepared in approximately 15 seconds, replacing conventional IOL delivery systems that require manual loading of the IOL. The single-use disposable inserter is discarded after IOL implantation, eliminating the need for the post-op sterilization associated with reusable systems.
