A lot of steps were performed to make this process more appropriate and acceptable for European Higher Education Area. One of the most important achievement on this way is development of the agreed set of standards, procedures and guidelines on quality assurance with the Europian Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA). The recommendations and methods which are given there will allow to unify educational process as much as possible and to save of national traditions and peculiarities at the same time. Since April, 2008, Ukraine became a full member of the European register of government quality assurance (EQAR). It will allow to join to the international process of medical universities accreditation in the nearest future. In our work we analyzed the main steps which had been performed in our university for internal standards assurance of the educational process according the ENQA.

4.
Quality assurance of teaching staff. Teaching staff rating was implemented which consists of information about educational process, scientific and medical competence. The different trainings of teachers in the affiliate institutions of Austria, USA, Netherlands, and Czech Republic are performing regularly.
5.
Learning resources and student support. The extensive TSMU Web-portal was created. All educational sources, lectures, training films are presented there. There are more than 3000 different educational materials for students.
6.
Information systems. The regular analysis of all indices of university activities is performed every year. Different rating systems (internal, regional, and intercollegiate) there are in usage.
7.
