The evidence-based medicine (EBM) is a new direction based on the technology of accumulative, analysis, generalization and interpretation of the scientific information for the motivated selection of treatment of the individual patient. The analysis of clinical researches outcome requires statistical methods, but the updated view of their application has been omitted while considering the concept development of EBM. The high level evidence of researches should be based on exact methods of clinical data analysis. The selection of analysis methods should be based on the strict observance of conditions of their applicability. Using of logistical and Cox's regression models enables to make prognosis for each individual patient on the basis of generalization of similar cases. In the Filatov Institute the model, allowing predicting the probability of eye preservation at uveal melanoma by 4 risk factors, has been designed on the basis of logistic regression. Cox's regression models are applied by appraisal of the individual forecast of UM patients survival rate, and also to analyze risk factors of grafts rejection. Neural networks modeling are less sensitive to the initial data. Neural networks, predicting treatment results of the heavy retina detachments, have been designed in the Filatov Institute. The networks also applied for the clinical efficiency of the laser-coagulation at diabetic macular edema and optical results of the keratoplasties. Using of the above-mentioned methods in ophthalmology is connected with certain difficulties. Basic medical education is focused on an individual approach to each patient. This approach is obviously correct, because it can prepare the doctors to the treatment of definite diseases. However, coming down to the phase of generalization, which is obligatory at performance of scientific researches, requires another style of thinking. The appliance of the usage of the mathematical methods of analysis requires basic mathematical education, but our medical institutes don't provide it. The specialized laboratories of biostatistics, as a rule, are not stipulated in our scientific institutes The decision of the statistical analysis quality problems, possible by improvement of education in this area, creations of the centers of statistics and expansion of the international cooperation in biometrics.
