Dear Colleagues,
it is our pleasure to invite you to the Annual Meeting of the German Medical Library Association (Arbeitsgemeinschaft für medizinisches Bibliothekswesen e. V.) 2022, themed: “AGMB 2022: Seizing opportunities together”.
This year, we will come back to an in-person conference in Würzburg. In addition to the statutory general meeting, there will again be interesting technical presentations and popular short lectures. In the meeting points and the working groups, you will have the opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss various topics and take many new ideas for your library with you. This time, the focus will be on topics such as open access and open science, digital services, and staff recruiting and training.
The poster session “From Practice for Practice” will provide an overview of current topics and projects in medical libraries.
Between the lectures, the companies will have the opportunity to present their products. Furthermore, there will be an accompanying exhibition.
On Monday and Tuesday evening we will come together for social gatherings and dinners. On Monday the dinner will be held in the library and on Tuesday we will have the conference dinner.
We look forward to your participation and wish you and us good luck at our first in-person conference after the break.
